Cruise for LGBTQ+ saved 11 Cuban balseros in the Yucatan Channel. The group of migrants was found on floating pallets during the cruise by Vacaya. According to the cruise company's representatives, the migrants were in poor condition and were starving.

"It is sad that people are forced to endure such trauma in search of a better life," said the general director of Vacaya. He also added that all 11 balseros were provided assistance and offered safe shelter.

According to the organization, the migrants abandoned their plots when they saw the cruise ship. Now they are all in safety and receiving the necessary medical assistance and nutrition.
