Regimen Reports 634 Deaths from Traffic Accidents in 2024

In 2024, road accidents led to 634 deaths, reports the Regulatory Agency. Even with a decrease in the total number of incidents, the number of casualties has increased. According to data published on the website Cubanet.org, this indicates that mortality in road-transport incidents remains a significant problem.

However, it is noted that the total number of incidents has decreased compared to previous years. At the same time, the number of casualties resulting from accidents has increased, which may indicate a more severe aftermath of incidents.

"These data indicate the need for more effective measures to ensure safety on the roads," noted the representative of the Regulatory Agency.

It is important to focus on the need to prevent road accidents and ensure safety as one of the priority tasks.
