The intense rains have caused flooding in several areas of the city, raising concerns among residents and local authorities. Persistent rainfall is expected to continue over the coming days, which could worsen the situation.

According to statements from Baracoa's residents, the streets have become impassable and some homes have been affected by the flooding. Authorities are working on assisting those affected and assessing the damage caused by the rains.

"We are worried about the current situation. The floods have affected us again and we fear for the safety of our homes," said one of the residents in the rain-affected area. The Baracoa community is on alert for this new emergency caused by the heavy rainfall.
