According to a report on the Cubanet website, residents of Cuba are facing a gas shortage. In several provinces of the country, it was announced: "We have no supplies, we are waiting for the delivery of this product, so its sale is currently suspended."
This problem has coincided with a general deficit of goods, which has become more pronounced in Cuba due to economic difficulties. The gas shortage creates serious problems for many Cubans, since it is mainly used for cooking food.
One resident of Havana expressed her concern: "Without gas, it is extremely difficult for us to prepare food. We hope that deliveries will be restored soon; otherwise, we will have to look for alternative ways to prepare food."
The inability to ensure access to gas poses a threat to the basic necessities of the population and forces people to seek a way out of the increasingly complicated situation. The need to import products highlights problems that the country faces in ensuring its citizens with essential goods.
