A local resident expressed her concern about this: "Fish is one of the most expensive foods we can buy in our country. Additionally, it is even more difficult to obtain it when there are problems with the power supply."
This situation highlights the difficulties many Cuban families face in accessing basic foods like fish, whose cost in the informal market can be prohibitive for a large part of the population.
Given this reality, citizens are forced to seek more economical and accessible alternatives to ensure adequate nutrition, especially in a context of scarcity and high prices.
